Is SSL compatible with Vista?

Yes, the latest public beta version of 1.7.2 is compatible with Vista. It is however a beta version and is not final yet. You can download the Vista driver included in the 1.7.2 Public Beta zip folder. If you've previously installed the XP driver for the SL1 on your Vista computer, then it is recommended to manually reinstall the Vista driver from the Device Manager.

How To

Plug the SL1 into your USB port. Click on the Windows Start button, then go to the Control Panel. Switch to Classic View if you have not. Then double click on the Device Manager icon.

In the Device Manager, scroll down to Universal Serial Buses at the bottom and expand it. You should see "Serato USB Device." Highlight that and right-click it, then select "Update Driver Software."

On the next screen select "Browse my computer for driver software."

On the next screen, click on Browse to manually locate and point to the Vista driver. It is located in the /Drivers/Vista/SL1 folder that was included in the 1.7.2 zip file.

Manually locate the /Drivers/Vista/SL1 folder on your hard drive. Highlight it and press OK to install.
