Assuming there is one song running on turntable 1 and the other dj is still playing:

Make sure you got all your cables ready
    1. Connect your laptop to power socket
    2. Connect external power supply to the SSL box
    3. Startup your laptop
    4. Connect your USB cable to the laptop, and to the SSL box
    5. Startup SSL, wait till all crates are loaded

Now the next 3 steps are crucial, try to be as fast as possible to cause as little problems as possible for the current playing dj:

    1. Disconnect phono cable from tt2 (no song is running on that tt right now)
    2. Connect the phono cable from tt2 to the SSL box
    3. connect the RCA cable from thru2 from your SSL box to the mixer where you pulled out the phono cable from tt2

Now the dj can go on playing his songs on tt2 as well

    1. Attach lineout2 from the SSL box to the mixer
    2. Wait til he switches to play a song on tt2

Now the next 3 steps are again crucial, try to be as fast as possible to cause as little problems as possible for the current playing dj:

    1. Disconnect phono cable from tt1 (no song is running on that tt right now)
    2. Connect the phono cable from tt1 to the SSL box
    3. connect the RCA cable from thru2 from your SSL box to the mixer where you pulled out the phono cable from tt1

The dj can still go on playing his songs on tt1

    1. Attach lineout1 from the SSL box to the mixer

Now you should go again through the same procedure to calibrate your decks, meaning calibrate the deck which is not in use currently (!important! Nothing is worse than when you think you are ready to switch, the other dj stops playing and you realise there is something wrong with the cables, cause you didnt calibrate your decks).

VoilĂ , you're done. (Taken from here )
